Amber Marie Morris was born July 19, 1987 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of James Orville Morris, Sr. and Cindy Marie Burch.
Amber lived in Pleasantville her entire life, until moving to Albia two months ago. She graduated from Pleasantville High School with the Class of 2005 and was currently enrolled in the Iowa School of Beauty in Ottumwa. During high school, Amber was a member of the Pleasantville Drill Team for 3 years and the Cheerleading Squad for 4 years.
Amber enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, listening to music and fixing hair. Her greatest joy was her 17 month-old son, Ian James Morris; he truly was Amber’s life.
Amber passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident, in Albia, Iowa at the age of 22 years and 7 months.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Morris and grandfather, Robert E. Burch.
Amber is survived by her parents, Cindy & John Rodda of Pleasantville; son, Ian Morris; brother, James Morris, Jr. of Bussey; boyfriend, Ron Vernon of Albia and grandparents, Billie Joe Burch of Palacious, TX; Richard & Jean Morris of Hamilton and Art & Jean Rodda of Knoxville; 1 niece and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
