Jerry John Stahl was born December 1, 1948, in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Walter and Wilma (Thompson) Stahl.
He was raised in Knoxville and lived there for most of his life. Jerry worked in the maintenance department for the Chariton Hospital for several years until he retired due to health reasons. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoyed the NASCAR and Sprint Car races.
Jerry passed away on April 28, 2014 at the Griffin Nursing Center at the age of 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Norman "Donna" Norton of Knoxville, IA; siblings: Larry Stahl of Knoxville, IA, John Hess of Knoxville , IA, William Norton of Dallas, TX, Sheila Stone of Santa Fe, NM and Diane Spaur of Bussey, IA, special family members: Karen, Cheryl, Christine, Teresa and Tana and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
