Zade Stanley Groenendyk was born on June 28, 2002 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Michael Groenendyk and Teri (Jerue) Morgan.
He attended Twin Cedars School where he enjoyed playing baseball and football. He was in the Talented and Gifted program at school, a member of the Honor Roll and an Academic All-Conference recipient. Zade was an avid Hawkeye and Viking fan and he had a love for guns and hunting. He would do anything for anyone and showed this by being a tissue donor.
Zade passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his home at the age of 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Jerue and Lyle Morgan; great-grandparents, Ed and Hilda Groenendyk, Sylvia Watson, Hubert Nash and Richard S. Jerue.
Those left to honor Zade’s memory include his parents, Mike (Denise) Groenendyk, Teri (Tom) Morgan; siblings, Hailey Groenendyk, Holly (Aaron Labertew), Ashley Morgan, Brittany (Adam) Kingery, Katelyn (Eric) Clark, Tyler Hollingshead and Isabella Fitch; grandparents, Kevin and Mary Groenendyk, Ruth Jerue and Kae Morgan; niece, Ryleigh Labertew; nephew, Oliver, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Family to be decided on at a later time.
