Brandy Kline was born February 26, 1973 in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Carroll and Susan (Metcalf) Visser.

She graduated from Knoxville High School with the Class of 1991. Brandy then attended Indian Hills Community College, where she earned a Registered Nursing Degree. She then worked in obstetrics at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. Brandy later attended La’ James College and became a cosmetologist. She then worked as a hair stylist in Knoxville. More recently, she worked at Hyatt Place Hotel in Altoona where she took a lot of pride in the hospitality business.

Brandy had a special place in her heart for animals and volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. In her spare time, Brandy enjoyed reading, studying history and collecting gemstones. She was happiest as a caregiver, whether it was for a patient, a client or a pet.

Brandy passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home at the age of 53 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Sue Visser.

Those left to cherish Brandy’s memory include her children, William and Bailey, both of Knoxville; sister, Kerry Visser of West Des Moines, brother, Bob Visser of Knoxville, and nephew, Cadence Visser and many other family members and friends.

Brandy has been cremated and no services are planned.
