Christian Edward Lawson

Christian Edward Lawson was born September 21, 1984 in Pineville, Louisiana the son of Edward Mason and Viola Cordelia (Rich) Lawson.
Christian was raised in the Russell Springs, Kentucky area until his teenage years, when his family moved to Opelousas, Louisiana. He has lived in the Knoxville, Iowa area since 2012. He enjoyed working on cars and was employed as an oil change technician. He enjoyed the peace of nature, fishing and listening to music. He was also a bit of a “foodie” and enjoyed trying new things.
Christian passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at his home, in rural Knoxville, at the age of 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
Those left to honor Christian’s memory include his mother, Viola of Knoxville; brother, Michael (Amanda) of Knoxville; daughter Dakota Lawson of Des Moines; niece, Hayden; nephews: Damien and Weston and many other family members and friends .
Christian has been cremated and his family will announce a Celebration of His Life at a later date.
