Daniel Gregory Beaver was born August 25, 1950 the son of Harold “Peck” and Maryellen (Johnson) Beaver.

Dan worked at Kline Tire in Pella in his early years. He was united in marriage to Tomma Lou McCombs at her grandparent’s home. To this union one daughter, Ranae was born. He then became an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement. Dan had a passion for racing and was a stock car driver in his younger years. He also had a soft spot for his golden retrievers.

Dan passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2026 at his home in Tracy, under the care of Suncrest Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peck and Maryellen; wife, Tomma Lou (McCombs); brother, Leslie and his in-laws, Adelbert “Buddy” and Elvira McCombs.

Those left to cherish Dan’s memory include his daughter, Ranae (David) Ridlen and their children: Samantha and Ben Ridlen and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service for Dan Beaver, age 75 of Tracy, will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Church in Knoxville. A luncheon will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riverside Church.
