Eileen Mae Loynachan was born November 23, 1938 in Nevada, Iowa the daughter of Dearold Everet Dodds and Mae Myrtle (McDaniel) Dodds.
 
 Eileen was raised in the Knoxville area, graduating from Knoxville High School with the Class of 1956. On July 13, 1958 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Loynachan, although the marriage eventually dissolved, the couple remained close friends. Through the years, Eileen had worked at Hy-Vee, the gas company and was a manager of the Super 8 Motel. She also worked concessions at the Knoxville Raceway for many years.
 
 In her spare time, Eileen enjoyed baking NASCAR and Sprint Car races and making crafts. She and Kenneth also enjoyed square dancing for several years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
 
 Eileen passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her home at the age of 76 years.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Bob Lathem.
 
 Those left to mourn Eileen’s passing include her sister, Colleen Lathem of Knoxville, former husband, Kenneth Loynachan of Knoxville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
