Evelyn Lorraine Marsh was born January 29, 1920 in Marion County, Iowa the daughter of Jesse and Icle (Sweem) Ellis.
 
 She graduated from Knoxville High School and then attended business training. Evelyn then worked in Des Moines for a few years. On September 8, 1939 she was united in marriage to Daniel Lee “Danny” Marsh in Unionville, Missouri. The couple first lived in Wichita, Kansas and later moved back to Knoxville in 1944. Evelyn then stayed home with the children. When the kids were older, she worked as the bookkeeper for Supervalu and then for the Ford garage.
 
 In her spare time, Evelyn enjoyed the Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and bowling. She also served as the secretary for the Wednesday night bowling league for several years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Altar & Rosary Society and a Gold Circle Member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Family was very important, and she and Danny rarely missed a child or grandchild’s sporting event. She cherished her family and having everyone together for family dinners and holidays.
 
 Evelyn passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Pella Regional Health Center at the age of 94 years.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Danny on September 28, 2003.
 
 Those left to honor her memory include her children: Teresa Glover and husband Dwight, Lynda Graves and husband Arden, Danny Marsh and wife Darla, Deb Scott and husband Craig, and Pam Webb and husband Dennis all of Knoxville; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
