Jordan Ryan Pope was born May 26, 1999, in Pella, Iowa the son of Renee Grey and Shawn Pope.

Jordan grew up in Pella and graduated from Indianola High School with the Class of 2017. Jordan enjoyed disc golfing, biking, playing video games and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors and late night catfishing. He loved listening to every genre of music and screaming lyrics at the top of his lungs.

Jordan died unexpectedly on March 11, 2023 at the age of 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his cousins, John Paul Schneider and Braxton Stralow and aunt, Kami Bravo.

Those left to cherish Jordan’s memory include his parents, Renee Grey of Indianola and Shawn (Cindy) Pope of Bondurant; sisters: Stacia and Danielle Pope of Indianola; grandparents: LuAnn (Jeff) Livingston of Monroe, Dan Pope of Knoxville and Terry Blubaugh of Melcher-Dallas and many other family members and friends.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
