Sandra Dee Eurom, 68, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, in Pleasantville, Iowa, following a long and courageous battle with the effects of Multiple Sclerosis.

Born on May 17, 1958, in Marshalltown, Iowa, Sandra was the eldest child of Conrad and Kay Eurom. She spent the majority of her adult life as a resident of Des Moines, where she dedicated herself to the service of others. Sandra earned her Registered Nurse (RN) degree from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing and spent her career providing compassionate care to her patients until her health forced her retirement.

Faith and community were central to Sandra’s life. She was an active and devoted member of The Friends Church. Among her most cherished memories were the summers she spent serving as a counselor and camp nurse at Quaker Heights, where she touched the lives of many young people.

Even as MS increasingly limited her physical capabilities and led to her disability, Sandra maintained her resilient spirit. She spent her final years wrapped in the care and comfort of her providers and community in Pleasantville.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Kay Eurom of Roland, IA; her stepmother, Barb Eurom; her brothers, John Eurom and Douglas Eurom, both of Jacksonville, FL; and her sister, Anita Cullor Small of Milton, IA. She was preceded in death by her father, Conrad Eurom, formerly of Powersville, MO.

A small, private gathering will be held by her family to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
